WHY NOW?

A DEFINING MOMENT

For years, decentralized finance outpaced the policy conversation around it. That gap is closing.

Blockchain-based infrastructure has matured, decentralized markets have proven that they can operate at scale, and policymakers increasingly recognize both the significant opportunity and the high stakes. The question is no longer whether this technology will shape the future of finance, but how.

Hyperliquid Policy Center exists to help align innovation with thoughtful policy, and to ensure that the United States leads rather than lags in defining what comes next.

WHAT IS HYPERLIQUID?

ABOUT US

WHAT IS HYPERLIQUID?

Hyperliquid is a public, permissionless blockchain and decentralized exchange designed to upgrade the legacy financial system.

Developed by a team of American builders, Hyperliquid is a blockchain network purpose-built for decentralized trading. Just as electronic trading transformed markets at the turn of the 21st century, Hyperliquid represents the next evolution of finance: transparent, efficient, and resilient infrastructure built on public blockchains.

Hyperliquid is best known for perpetuals, a type of derivative contract without an expiration date. Perpetuals represent an evolution in how derivatives function. Today, Hyperliquid’s liquidity rivals the largest centralized exchanges. Its network has expanded beyond trading, allowing anyone to build applications that inherit its advantages.

Non-custodial

Users maintain control of their own assets.

Transparent

All transactions are viewable and verifiable in real-time.

Accessible

Anyone can use the network without asking for permission.

Performant

Low latency and high throughput enable faster and cheaper transactions.
